Flames of War

Hot to trot at the moment with me is FoW! A large German Late force and a medium sized British contingent from the same period are slowly coming together. That has now been supplemented by a DAK MW force and a Britsh Force for the same arena. The DAK force had its first outing in the BHGS Oxford pairs - see the photos here.

And it's second outing at the BHGS Challange at Ascot - see the photos here.

Also recently added is as a subsite is a FoW campaign website which can be found here.

MKWS held their 2009 Campaign in Middleton Hall Shopping Centre as usual. The DAK made another outing coupled with a brief foray with a British Heavy Armoured Company that demonstrated the "Charge of the Heavy Brigade".....then they went back in the box!!! Anyway pics can be found here.

Another outing for the DAK force as well as a British Heavy Armoured was to the Spikey Club in Reading for a new set of scenarios on varied terrain. It was the Bournemouth boys who maxed out here!!

The latest pictures are from a Firestorm Total War game we tried at the Games Vault on 1 August 2009. 4,300 points a side!! Click here for pictures!!

TOTAL WAR!! Northampton Warlords with some help from Warwickshire Gamers took on the Cambridge Wargames club with two massive 10,000 points per side battles on the Western and Eastern Fronts. The pictures can be found here.

Checkout the scenery link in the left hand column to see the boards I have completed with a bit of help from my friends or The Games Vault link to see details of the launch event or go here to the FoW section:  More here...

Hordes/War Machine

For me it is Cryx. Great figures and with our Autumn tournament under way and a great fun charity fund raiser the other week it is a case of all creatures great and small!!

Quite a following within our club for this TTG. More here...

Recently Project Hydra in Northampton ran a tournament - which unfortunately only attracted 4 players but it was fun and pics can be found here!!

Warhammer Fantasy

Oh dear. Empire, Orcs, Dwarves and Chaos Beasts make up this set!

Oh and pinched from the FoW forum.......this clip!!
